Xerox traditionally sourced its office-imaging printers from Fuji Xerox, but with the end of its Technology Agreement in March 2021, it’s now free to OEM hardware from other suppliers.
Two printer companies are taking print technologies into domains outside of print, including the Internet of Things, 3D printing, and microfluidics.
Among the findings: 89 percent of malware detected was delivered via email, while web downloads were responsible for 11 percent, and other vectors like removable storage devices for less than 1 percent.
According to Epson, over 60 million EcoTank high-capacity ink tank printers have sold worldwide since their launch in 2010.
