MPS Monitor 2.0

Valsoft Corporation, a Montreal-based private-equity company specializing in the acquisition and development of software companies in vertical markets, announced today that it’s acquired Italy-based MPS Monitor and Denmark-based Euroform for undisclosed sums. The two companies are said to be leading developers and providers of Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) and Managed Print Services SaaS solutions for the print industry.

Valsoft will be entering into the Managed Print Services market by acquiring 100 percent of both MPS Monitor and Euroform, and says it will be leveraging the market positioning, product strength, and expertise of the two combined companies to provide an integrated SaaS (software as a service) offering to dealers and Managed Print Providers across the world.

Michael Assi, CEO of Aspire Software, the operating division of Valsoft, said Valsoft’s entry into the Managed Print Services market will be led by Nicola De Blasi, who will continue to serve as CEO of MPS Monitor, and who also take on the role of CEO of Euroform.

MPS Monitor

In 12 years since its inception, MPS Monitor is said to have grown into one of the major Internet of Things SaaS providers globally for the Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) of printing devices and the provision of Managed Print Services, currently serving more than 2,500 dealers.

The MPS Monitor solution is installed at more than 220,000 customers around the world, and monitors more than 1,300,000 printing devices and 37 billion pages annually. The company Monitor provides a SaaS platform for monitoring and managing printers, available on the cloud, and equipped with a full set of APIs for integrating external software solutions.

Its data-collection technology is said to enable dealers, value added resellers, end-users, manufacturers, and retailers of printer consumables to manage printing devices, enable them to record page volumes, and automatically supply toner. The MPS Monitor Cloud service is managed within an Information Security Management System that’s certified as compliant with ISO/IEC 27001, SOC 2 Type 2 and CSA Star Level 2.

Euroform
