Industrial textile-printer shipments were a bright spot, growing 4.6 percent worldwide compared to Q4 2021.
The latest financial reports from vendors show a continuing difficult situation for many print vendors.
Many vendors have left the PC market, with HP seeing something similar for the print industry.
Fitch continues to believe pressure in the print sector may warrant meaningful industry consolidation, which would likely result in debt-funded acquisitions.
