Control Center 4 in Office Mode provides additional “PC-Copy” Modes.
Nuance PaperPort 12 SE is used to import, scan, organize, manipulate and distribute scans and other documents. It provides more advanced functionality than Control Center 4.
Nuance PDF Viewer Plus is a nice addition that provides PDF editing and creation capabilities.
Installation
Hardware set-up was reasonable at approximately 17.75 minutes, including installing the four ink cartridges and ink priming, and the print head is pre-installed. Software and network installation was also comparatively easy and took approximately 21.25 minutes. There is also Driver Deployment Wizard available from Brother. Note that only one Brother Utility is installed that conveniently includes uninstall and installation repair selections. An automatic (network) connection repair option is also available during the installation process.
