DocuWare Acquires IT Services Company

DocuWare, a provider of document management and workflow automation solutions, and which is owned by Ricoh Company, announced today that it’s acquired DocuScan for an undisclosed sum.  

Headquartered in Erftstadt near Cologne, Germany, DocuScan is said to be a leading IT services provider in the field of digitization for over 20 years, providing customized workflow automation solutions to mid-size enterprises throughout Germany. 

 “When we heard of DocuScan’s plan to sell, it quickly became clear that not only would an acquisition protect their employees and customers; it would also allow us to merge their skills, experience and expertise with ours to lead the way in improving business efficiency and workflow automation,” commend Dr. Michael Berger, DocuWare President.

DocuScan is wholly owned by DocuWare and will continue to operate as an independent entity within DocuWare.
