This week, Brother International launched its next-generation monochrome family of black-and-white printers and MFPs for SMBs, all notable for their compatibility with automatic toner-cartridge delivery programs Brother Refresh Automatic Toner Delivery and Amazon Dash. Taking a page from its inkjet models, two models also feature extra toner supplies – with up to “2 Years of Toner” included in the box.

Speaking of Amazon Dash, according to a German tech magazine, t3N, Epson and HP Inc. are also working on printers that can automatically order new ink cartridges from Amazon when their ink levels run low (a service already provided for Brother and Samsung printers). The program will be available for Amazon Prime customers, allowing them “to order different consumer goods at the push of a button.”
