Kyocera Expands Ink-Jet Production-Print Portfolio with New Tandem Configuration

On September 17th, Kyocera Document Solutions America launched the Kyocera, TASKalfa Pro Tandem, which is powered by two TASKalfa Pro 15000c print engines.
The firm notes that the TASKalfa Pro 15000c has held the number-one position in the U.S. cut-sheet production inkjet market for five consecutive years.
For its part, the TASKalfa Pro Tandem delivers up to 5 million images per month at speeds of 292 images per minute, helping businesses take on more work without expanding floor space or headcount.
“We’re excited to show this device at PRINTING United 2026,” commented Dustin Graupman, senior director at Kyocera. “Commercial printers scaling their operations have always faced the same choice: buy another press and hire another operator or find a way to do more with what they already have. The TASKalfa Pro Tandem offers a third option—a powerful device that brings two of our market-leading TASKalfa Pro 15000c production inkjet presses together in a simple-to-use platform. That’s a game changer for businesses running high volumes.”

While the TASKalfa Pro Tandem is a new platform, Kyocera says it has decades of experience in inkjet and over a thousand installations of its flagship inkjet press. Using this expertise, the TASKalfa Pro Tandem supports high-volume printing with:
- Combined speeds of 292 images per minute.
- Monthly duty cycle up to 5 million images.
- Single-operator control across two engines.
- TagG Controller, sending print data to both engines from one system and reading multiple data formats.
The TASKalfa Pro Tandem is said to be another step on Kyocera’s “Inkjet For All Journey” campaign, joining the TASKalfa Pro 15000c and TASKalfa Pro 15000b.
