Fujifilm Launches Revoria PC2120 Production Press with AI-Driven Automation, Green Toner

Fujfilm North America Corporation, Business Innovation Division, today launched its new Revoira Press PC2120, a digital toner color press, and the flagship model in the Revoria Press portfolio, for high-end production printing.

Rated at up to 120 ppm, the press can use up to 11 colors, accept media up to 400 gsm, and is Pantone verified. It’s said to build on the Revoria Press PC1120, and represents the next generation of print technology, introducing advanced AI-driven automation, an expanded color gamut featuring a newly developed green toner, and stable, one-pass six-color printing using CMYK plus two specialty toners.

Sales of the PC2120 begin in North America today.

“With its incredible color reproduction, reliability, and overall flexibility to get even the toughest jobs done, our Revoria Press line has consistently delighted our print service providers, and in turn, their customers,” commented Andrew Gunn, head of Print on Demand Solutions at Fujifilm North America. “The advancements PC2120 brings to the market, including its green toner offering, set the tone for CMYK+ printing. When combined with our Aspire program, which educates print service providers on how to make more with CMYK+, PC2120 will be the press that takes our customers’ capabilities to the next level.”

Main features include:

AI-Driven Automation for Prepress

The PC2120 is said to simplify complex workflows with proprietary AI features. In pre-press, the Substrate Profiler automates paper setup processes by scanning loaded paper, detecting basic information like paper type and weight, and calculating optimal transfer output adjustments. This helps reduce setup time and waste by up to 80 percent.

The Revoria Flow print server uses AI technology to analyze documents and automatically recommends optimal image quality enhancements, such as sharpening text or fine lines. AI also detects scenes within photos or images – such as people or landscapes – and applies appropriate corrections for consistent high-quality output regardless of operator experience.

During printing, even when using specialty toners, the Smart Monitoring Gate continuously detects paper color variations and registration misalignments, automatically correcting them in real time without affecting print speed. This allows the press to maintain stable, high-quality output without requiring specialized expertise.

Expanded Color Options with New Green Toner

To deliver more impactful prints, the PC2120 introduces a newly developed green specialty toner alongside the existing pink toner. Together, they expand the printable color gamut, achieving 93 percent coverage of the widely used Pantone Forumula Guide Solid Coated. The new green toner, along with pink toner, is said to produce exceptionally vivid colors that closely match those seen on monitor screens. The PC2120 also simplifies wide-gamut specialty color printing with features like automatic color separation, converting RGB data into CMYK layers plus green and pink specialty layers – significantly reducing the time complexity of prepress editing.

Additional Specialty Toner Options

In addition to CMYK toner, PC2120 can accommodate two specialty toner colors. It also offers robust support features for easily utilizing specialty toners: green, pink, gold, silver, clear, white, and textured paper.

When using pink toner, a simple operation automatically separates and converts part of the magenta plate into a pink plate. This can be especially useful when matching skin tones.

The preview function allows users to check the color expression of specialty toners on the display. This reduces the time and effort required to check colors and minimizes the number of test prints, enabling efficient design production. Furthermore, a viewer that can be incorporated into online printing sites allows users to check the finish of specialty toners before submitting print data.

Efficiency and Print Quality Updates

Fujifilm says the PC2120 achieves high-quality printing with the company’s Super EA-Eco toner, which features one of the industry’s smallest toner particle sizes, and 2,400 dpi high resolution, along with printing of up to 120 ppm.

The Revoria Flow print server also enables high-quality image data generation through 1,200 × 1,200 dpi RIP processing. A Fiery print server is also available, and customers can choose from several print server options.

Other features include the Air Suction Feeder Tray, which ensures reliable feeding even for coated papers that tend to adhere easily. Additionally, the Static Eliminator D1 removes static electricity from output sheets, preventing adhesion between sheets and allowing seamless transition to the next process, even when using film or metallic papers prone to static buildup. Additionally, the PC2120 supports a wide range of paper types, from thin paper (52 gsm) to thick paper (400 gsm), and paper sizes from postcard size (98 x 146 mm) to long sheets (up to 330 x 1,300 mm).

The PC1120 will also feature available third-party inline finishing options from Plockmatic for booklet needs, and GBC for hole-punching needs. Additionally, PC2120 is compatible with Fujifilm’s Aspire program, which features specialized training on how to maximize the printer’s capabilities around CMYK+ embellishments.

Awards and Accolades

PC2120 has also earned recognition on a global basis for its design and capabilities.

Red Dot Design Award, May 2026 – This award is given to outstanding products that have been judged on criteria such as design innovation, functionality, ergonomics, ecology and durability. The Red Dot Design Award is considered one of the top three global design awards.

The PC1120 also earned two globally recognized industry certifications – the Fogra Validation Printing System (VPS) Certification and the Printing United Alliance G7 System Certification. The Fogra VPS Certification acknowledges PC2120’s ability to produce ISO 12647-8 compliant validation prints with stable, repeatable, and accurate output, while the G7 System Certification guarantees that the press meets strict global standards for color accuracy, gray balance, and tonality.
