Fujifilm Business Innovation today announced that it will extend the availability of Print Recommendation as an optional software feature for the Revoria Press EC2100S / EC2100 and Revoria Press SC285S / SC285 mid-range models in Japan and the Asia-Pacific region beginning November 16th, but will also eventually be available in Europe and North America.
This feature uses AI technology to recommend optimal image quality settings based on the characteristics of submitted print data. Alongside this expansion, the company will enhance the feature by expanding the range of AI-recommended image quality settings and adding a preview function.
Print Recommendation, powered by AI technology developed under Fujifilm’s REiLI Business brand, was first introduced as a standard feature on Revoria Flow PC31 print server for the Revoria Press PC2120, the flagship model for the high-end professional market, launched in December 2025. By analyzing submitted print data, the feature automatically recommends optimal image quality settings, including those for sharpening text or fine lines. The feature is now being extended as an optional software feature to the Revoria Press EC2100S / EC2100 models, which are primarily used for professional applications such as commercial printing and quick printing, and the Revoria Press SC285S / SC285 models, which are suitable for quick printing as well as in-house or office environments.
The number of settings that AI can recommend will also increase from 16 to 22. These include settings related to spot color correction, image quality, and specialty toner. A new preview function will allow users to compare expected print results with and without the recommended settings before applying them to print jobs, while another new function will display the reasons for the AI recommendations. Users will be able to apply the recommended settings automatically through job templates or by right-clicking, making it easier to incorporate AI-recommended settings into print jobs.
Fujifilm says these enhancements will enable operators to review AI recommendations and their expected effects and then easily apply the recommended image quality settings to print jobs. Operators with limited specialized knowledge or experience will also be able to produce high-quality prints while reducing the time and effort required to adjust image quality. This will help reduce reliance on the skills of experienced operators and improve productivity in print environments.
Fujifilm says it will progressively expand the availability of Print Recommendation to additional models in the Revoria Press and ApeosPro series that use Revoria Flow and GP Controller print servers.
