Canon Adds SpencerMetrics Solutions for Production Print Analytics

On July 14th, SpencerMetrics, a New York-based provider of production print and manufacturing analytics solutions, announced that Canon U.S.A. has become a licensed reseller of its software suite. Through the agreement, Canon and its customers will gain access to SpencerMetrics’ vendor-neutral device monitoring and analytics platform.
Spenceretrics solutions will enable Canon production print customers to gain better visibility into their print production environments and optimize them for more efficiency. With its vendor-neutral platform, print service providers can measure productivity, identify downtimes and bottlenecks, and assess revenue performance across their entire production fleet.
The SpencerMetrics suite includes Connect , the AI-powered analytics engine with natural-language querying, Connect API 2.0, Automater, and Lynk. The company says these solutions transform raw production data into actionable intelligence, helping organizations to improve operational efficiency, protect profit margins, and make more informed, data-driven business decisions.
“This is a meaningful step into a new data world for our customers,” commented Kiyoshi Oka, executive vice president and general manager for Canon’s Marketing Strategy Unit. “By including SpencerMetrics data collection and analytics software as part of our offerings, we enable them to gain better visibility and help maximize their return-on-investment.”
By combining Canon’s production print portfolio with SpencerMetrics’ vendor-neutral analytics platform, SpencerMetrics says the companies can empower customers with the actionable intelligence needed to help optimize performance, improve profitability, and support long-term growth.
