Tungsten (Kofax) Achieves GovRAMP Authorization for TotalAgility Cloud

Tungsten Automation (previously known as Kofax) and provider of AI-powered document-workflow solutions, announced today that Tungsten TotalAgility Cloud has achieved GovRAMP Authorized status.
Tungsten Total Agility Cloud is an AI-driven, intelligent automation platform delivered as a cloud-based service (SaaS) or hosted solution. It allows organizations to automate complex, document-heavy workflows, combining workflow orchestration, intelligent document processing (IDP), and generative AI into a single platform.
Helping Federal Agencies Modernize and Secure Document Workflows
The new milestone follows Tungsten’s FedRAMP High authorization for TotalAgility Cloud, and is said to reinforce the company’s commitment to helping government agencies securely modernize document workflows, reducing manual work, and turning document-heavy processes into trusted, audit-ready intelligence.
Through its partnership with FedHIVE, a FedRAMP High and GovRAMP Authorized platform specializing in government compliance and secure cloud operations, Tungsten says it’s accelerated its ability to achieve and maintain the security authorizations required to serve government customers.
The GovRAMP Standard
GovRAMP, formerly known as StateRAMP, provides a standardized approach to cloud security verification for state, local, tribal, and educational organizations. With GovRAMP Authorized status, government buyers have an additional layer of confidence that the Tungsten TotalAgility platform has been independently assessed against rigorous security requirements for public-sector cloud environments.
“Government agencies do not have the luxury of choosing between speed and control. They need both,” commented Tamas Hevizi, chief strategy officer at Tungsten Automation. “TotalAgility Cloud helps agencies turn unstructured documents into trusted, compliant, AI-ready data, then orchestrate that data across the workflows where decisions actually happen. Achieving GovRAMP authorization gives agencies a proven path to modernize with the security, auditability, and confidence government work demands.”
The firm notes that government work runs on documents, and when applications, records, claims, contracts, invoices, and correspondence move through manual handoffs or fragmented systems, service slows and audit risk grows.
About Tungsten TotalAgility
Tungsten TotalAgility Cloud turns that content into trusted, AI-ready data and moves it through secure, auditable workflows, helping agencies modernize, reduce manual work, improve productivity, and keep decisions traceable.
“Most agencies are not starting from a blank slate. They are working with existing systems, strict policies, limited resources, and growing pressure to deliver faster,” commented John Beglan, public sector director at Tungsten Automation. “That is where Tungsten is different. We bring 40 years of experience in document-intensive, highly regulated environments, and we meet agencies where they are. TotalAgility Cloud helps modernize the work without forcing disruption to the systems agencies already rely on.”
Tungsten solutions are used by more than 350 U.S. government agencies, including 14 of 15 federal departments, and the company brings 40 years of public-sector experience. Across industries, more than 25,000 organizations also use Tungsten to transform unstructured documents into accurate, compliant, AI-ready data.
The GovRAMP milestone builds on Tungsten Automation’s broader security and compliance posture, including FedRAMP High, SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, GDPR, and responsible AI governance. TotalAgility Cloud is designed for regulated environments where data protection, auditability, human oversight, and compliance are not optional. They are foundational.
