Ricoh Strategic Review Will Focus on Profitability Challenges

Ricoh Company of Japan today announced a new, wide-ranging Strategic Review that will address profitability concerns and a history of missing financial targets. The review will be led by an independent Outside Director-led group (the SR-PT) to ensure an objective perspective.
Core focus areas will include:
- Earnings structure analysis.
- Management strategy.
- Business portfolio.
- Capital policy and capital allocation.
- Equity (including growth strategy and value creation narrative for capital markets).
Ricoh says intensive focus is scheduled for the second half of its fiscal-year 2026 (October 1, 2026 to March 31, 2027), and that it will continue to dialogue with shareholders and investors throughout the process.
Currently, no specific measures or strategic directions have been decided yet, and all findings will be submitted to the Ricoh Board of Directors for final determination.
