Ricoh Opens Industrial Print Center in Europe

Like many other office-print companies, Ricoh continues to diversify, announcing for instance that on October 1st it established a new company, Ricoh Printing Solutions Europe.

The new company, which is headquartered in Telford, U.K.), will oversee Ricoh’s industrial printing business in Europe, providing sales and engineering support for products and services in the industrial printing business, including industrial inkjet print heads and textile printers.

Ricoh Printing Solutions Europe (RPSE) will consolidate key functions related to industrial printing and begin business operations in April 2025. Through this, Ricoh say it’s committed to providing customers with high-value-added solutions and to further grow its industrial inkjet business.

Focus on Industrial Inkjet Print Business in Europe

RPSE, which will report directly to the Ricoh Graphic Communications (RGC) Business Unit of Ricoh Company, will consolidate functions such as sales, engineering support, and evaluation of industrial inkjet printing business in Europe, including industrial inkjet heads and textile printers, to provide consistent and specialized support to customers.

RPSE will also leverage its collaboration with Ricoh’s R&D headquarters and other regional locations to enhance its expertise and develop next-generation inkjet technology, thereby providing new value to customers.

Digital Environment Advantages

Ricoh noted that in the industrial and commercial print industry, the need to address increasingly complex management and environmental issues faced by customers is growing. According to the company, digital printing has many advantages over analog printing, including lower costs, energy savings, and on-demand capabilities, and the demand for these continues to rise.

With the establishment of RPSE, Ricoh says it will consolidate and strengthen its management functions across regions and build a stable global business structure. By providing high-quality, reliable products and services worldwide, it says it will also promote the transition to digital versus analog printing.
