Pantum Launches Smart Classic Desktop Printers

Pantum International today introduced a new family of monochrome laser A4 printers, the BP/BM2300 Smart Classic Series.

(Note that these models will not be sold in the U.S. Pantum is owned by Ninestar International, and, like several other Ninestar subsidiaries, was banned last year by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security from importing and selling in the U.S.)

Next-Generation

The new laser printers, which include a standalone printer and two MFPs, are rated at up to 22 ppm, with a First Page Out Time of 7.8 seconds.

They feature Pantum’s signature one-click installation with a driver-free setup for Microsoft Windows 8.1, 10, and 11. Connectivity includes USB, wired, 2.4G/5G dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and the Pantum mobile app.

The new models are said to be compact to easily fit into any workspace. They also feature an automatic sleep mode for energy efficiency, and a one-piece consumable.

They consist of the BM2300AW MFP with document feeder; BM2300A with platen scanning; and BM2300NW standalone printer.
