Ninestar’s G&G Group Introduces Home-Office Printers
Ninestar Corporation of Zhuhai, China, announced that its G&G printer business has launched new desktop monochrome laser printers designed for home offices, the GoPrint P2022 Series, which consists of the P2022 and P2022W.
The P2022W provides wireless connectivity, and both printers are designed for home offices, with a small footprint of 337mm x 220mm x 178mm (13.27” x 8.66” x 7.01”), and weighing 4.5KG (10.47 pounds) for easy transport. Recommended monthly print volume is up to 2,000 pages.
The G&G P2022W also provides Ethernet network interface, USB 2.0 interface, and Wi-Fi Direct. For mobile printing, there’s support for Apple AirPrint and the G&G SmartPro App, the latter of which provides mobile printing from both Android and Apple iOS platforms. The app also provides mobile scanning.
Print speed is rated at up to 23 ppm (letter-size), and resolution is 1,200 x 1,200 dpi.
G&G laser printers feature steel framing for durability during printing and transport; an enhanced paper-transport system for reduced misfeeds; and a separate toner and drum design for reduced waster.
Ninestar noted that increasing adoption of A4 printers, noting that according to the latest IDC data, A4 laser printers enjoyed the biggest shipment increase in the consumer market after the Covid-19 outbreak.
