New RISO ME9450 Uses Two Color Cylinders Simultaneously to Print at up to 150 PPM

ME9450UDecember 16, 2014 – RISO is rolling out its latest advances in digital duplicating with its new ME9450 Digital Duplicator. RISO’s newest model is a fully automatic, cut-sheet digital duplicator, which, with its two color cylinders printing simultaneously, can produce two-color documents in a single pass at rates of up to 150 ppm.

RISO says the ME9450 also features advanced workflow capabilities to reduce pre-press and make-ready times by up to 50 percent over more traditional two-color processes. The ME9450 is designed for graphic artists, teachers, and office managers who need low-cost and spot-color printing.

The RISO ME9450 combines 150 ppm high-speed two-color printing with true 600 dpi image quality. Color cylinders provide over 70 available colors and can be interchanged as needed. RISO also says the ME9450 supports a wide range of paper types.

An Easy 2-Color” process allows for various methods of color separation, depending on users’ needs. The ME9450 can produce prints from scanned hardcopy, electronic files, files stored on USB memory drives, and files already stored in the unit.

RISO says the ME9450, which is Energy Star-complaint, has no heating elements, and uses one-sixth the power of a toner-based system.

The RISO ME9450 is now available from RISO and its sales channel network worldwide. For more information on the ME9450, visit RISO here.
