New Kodak Alaris Departmental Document Scanners for Fighting ‘Storm’ of Paper Documents
Kodak Alaris is rolling out new document scanners, designed in particular for insurance companies, government agencies, and healthcare facilities facing a a constant “storm” of paper documents that must be scanned and integrated into business processes. Also new are the i4200 Plus and i4600 Plus scanners, which Kodak says are now more powerful, allowing users to achieve consistent throughput at 200 and 300 dpi in bi-tonal and color modes. Kodak says its i4000 series scanners are designed to help end users cost-effectively automate document-capture and management, and combine walk-up ease of use, one-touch scanning, comprehensive software capabilities, and simplified integration within new or existing document-management processes. For remote monitoring and maintenance, the i3000 and i4000 Series Scanners work with Kodak’s Asset Management Software. This software features a dashboard for monitoring current status. Users can register, install, configure, and maintain scanners, as well as diagnose and troubleshoot them remotely with easy-to-access scanner logs.
