HP Previews New Color LaserJet 3000 Series, MPS Offerings

This week at its Amplify Partner Conference 2024, HP Inc. previewed its new HP Color LaserJet 3000 series.

HP says print remains critical for small and mid-size businesses (SMBs). According to its research, 80 percent of SMBs prefer to work with a mix of digital and printed materials.

“In the era of hybrid work, as businesses reimagine their workspaces, the demand for high-performance solutions in small and flexible offices is on the rise,” commented Aurelio Maruggi, division president at HP Office Print Solutions.

The new HP Color LaserJet Pro 3000 series features: 

  • Increased reliability with Wi-Fi connectivity with “self-healing” so that the devices intelligently seek the best connection to stay online.
  • HP Wolf Pro Security.
  • Rated at up to 30 ppm (black)/15 (color) ppm.
  • The fastest duplex and first page out times in class.
  • Smallest footprint of any device in class.

The new models use HP’s previously introduced toner technology, Terrajet, a toner formula that enables richer and sharper colors. HP says Terrajet technology provides 11 percent more vivid printed colors, and 18 percent faster print speed.

TerraJet also enables up to 27-percent reduced energy consumption, and up to 28 percent-reduction of plastics in toner cartridges.

The Color LaserJet Pro 3000 series is part of a broader HP A3 and A4 portfolio that HP says has been completely revamped for the hybrid office, providing solutions for small businesses up to enterprise customers.  

The new models will be available beginning in May 2024. 

New MPS Offerings

Also at the Amplify Conference, HP introduce new managed print services (MPS) offerings:

  • Enhanced Managed Print Services (MPS): HP is upgrading its Managed Print Services portfolio with the integration of software solutions. In addition, Managed Print Services now enables multi-country deal setup.
  • New Managed Print Services (MPS) Subscription: HP is launching Managed Print Services (MPS) Subscription, a simple and flexible option that enables printing from virtually anywhere via a low commitment annual subscription model.
