Epson Launches Three New Sub-$200 WorkForce and Expression All-in-Ones

Epson WorkForce WF-2860 All-in-One Printer

Epson America today announced it’s expanding its WorkForce and Expression line of small business and home printing solutions with three new color-inkjet All-in-Ones priced at under $200. The new All-in-Ones consist of the WorkForce WF-2860 All-in-One Printer ($129.99 MSRP), Expression Home XP-5100 ($119.99 MSRP), and Expression Premium XP-6000 Small-in-One Printers ($149.99 MSRP).

WorkForce WF-2860

Designed for home and small offices, and powered by Epson’s PrecisionCore color inkjet-printing technology, the WorkForce WF-2860 features print, copy, scan; and fax; 150-sheet paper capacity; 30-page automatic document feeder for copy and scan; and automatic two-sided duplex printing. It also features a 2.4″ color touchscreen for setup and navigation, as well as network-free wireless printing, Near Field Communication (NFC) connectivity for touch-to-print with NFC-enabled mobile devices, and wired Ethernet network interface.

Print speed is rated at up to ISO 14 (black)/7.5 (color) ppm, while using up to 70-percent less power than laser printers.

Replacement ink cartridges consist of:

  • Epson 202 Black Cartridge yields 210 pages
  • Individual Epson 202 Cyan, Magenta, and Yellow Cartridges yield 165 pages each
  • Epson 202XL Black Cartridge yields 550 pages
  • Epson 220XL Cyan, Magenta, Yellow Cartridges: each yield 470 pages

Expression Home XP-5100

Designed for general home-printing needs, and featuring automatic two-sided duplex printing, the Expression Home XP-5100 is rated at up to ISO 14 (black)/7.5 (color) ppm, and provides print, copy, and scan.

It features a 2.4-inch color LCD for set-up and navigation, 150-sheet capacity paper tray, and, with wireless connectivity, users can print from virtually anywhere, with or without a network, including from tablets and smartphone.

The Expression Home XP-5100 is also compatible with Epson Creative Print, which enables users to create and print border-less photo collages, with photos obtained from users’ Facebook and Instagram accounts, as well as print customized stationery, calendars, and more.

Replacement ink cartridges consist of:

  • Epson 202 Black Cartridge yields 210 pages
  • Individual Epson 202 Cyan, Magenta, and Yellow Cartridges yield 165 pages each
  • Epson 202XL Black Cartridge yields 550 pages
  • Epson 220XL Cyan, Magenta, Yellow Cartridges: each yield 470 pages

Expression Premium XP-6000

The Expression Premium XP-6000 printer is designed for home use, with print, copy, and scan (no automatic document feeder), and can print 4″ x 6″ photos in as fast as 15 seconds. It uses five individual color Epson Claria ink cartridges, and can print border-less photos on up to 8″ x 10″ media. It also features photo-enhancement tools, 2.4″ color LCD, built-in USB port, and dedicated photo/DVD trays. Epson rates print speed at up to ISO 15.8 (black)/11.3 (color)ppm, and there are built-in USB and memory card slots for PC-free printing. Users can also print from iPad, iPhone, and Android tablets and smartphones with or without using a network router.

Five required ink cartridge (black, cyan, magenta, yellow, and photo-black) replacement cartridges consist of:

  • 302 Standard-capacity Black, Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Photo Black (Yields, ISO pages – Black: 250 pages; Color Cartridges and Photo Black: 300 pages each)
  • 302XL High-capacity Black, Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Photo Black (Yields, ISO pages – Black: 550 pages; Color Cartridges and Photo Black Cartridges: 650 pages each)
