Canon Expands imageForce Portfolio with Four New Models

Canon U.S.A. today announced the latest additions to its expanding imageFORCE portfolio with the introduction of the imageFORCE C1935P Compact Color Single Function Printer and the imageFORCE 1643 Series Desktop Black-and-White Multi/Single Function Printers, all of which are available now. The imageForCE C1935P is a single-function A3 color printer rated at up to 35 ppm, while the imageForce 1643 series consists of two A4 45-ppm monochrome models with print, copy, and scan, with the “F” configuration including fax. The imageForce 6432 is a standalone A4 monochrome printer rated at 45 ppm.
imageFORCE C1935P Printer
Supporting media sizes up to 11″ x 17″, the imageFORCE C1935P printer is said to be suited for fleet deployments and organizations that require the flexibility to handle a broader range of media within a small footprint. Its forward-facing operation and maintenance design simplifies paper loading and consumable replacement.
Canon also says the printer device is designed to produce vibrant, high-quality output with resolutions up to 1,200 × 1,200 dpi.
To support environmental sustainability, 13 percent of the resin material used in printer is made with recycled plastic materials. The imageFORCE C1935P also has has an extensive security feature set that includes a Security Environment Estimation feature, an estimation algorithm developed using Machine Learning to analyze the operating environment and recommend security settings, along with Verify System at Startup with Auto-Recovery, and Trellix Embedded Control features that can be turned on for further security features to be implemented.
imageFORCE 1643 Series
The new imageFORCE 1643 Series builds on Canon’s desktop lineup and replaces the imageRUNNER ADVANCE DX 1643P and imageCLASS X MF1643i/MF1643iF II models.
The imageFORCE 1643 and 1643F MFPs feature a 7” touchscreen with an icon-driven modern design that aligns with other imageFORCE models, created for a unified user experience across Canon fleets. There’s also scan speeds of up to 100/100 images per minute (300 dpi, black-and-white/color, duplex), while Authorized Send Compact support enables cloud-based print and scan.
Like the imageFORCE C1935P, the imageFORCE 1643 Series supports sustainability initiatives: 25 percent of the resin material used in the MFPs and 10 percent of the resin material in the printer model is made with recycled plastic materials
The new models also include extensive security technologies such as Security Environment Estimation and Verify System at Startup with Auto-Recovery, and Trellix Embedded Control features that can be turned on for further security features to be implemented.
The new models are also compatible with uniFLOW Online, Canon’s cloud-based print, scan, and accounting solution..
