Brother Launches 29 Next-Generation Business Printers, All-in-Ones for Hybrid Workers, Small Business, and Enterprise

Brother International USA today launched 29 new printers and All-in-Ones that consist of a refreshed line-up of monochrome and color laser models that Brother says provide improved print quality, enhanced productivity, faster print speeds, and advanced scanning and security features. 

The new A4 color models have been designed for small offices and hybrid workers at home. The new A4 monochrome models are designed for enterprise-level organizations, and build on Brother’s Enterprise Color Laser Printers introduced in early 2023.

Part of the introduction also includes an expansion in the Brother Workhorse line-up, featuring seven new models, including Brother’s first-ever Brother Workhorse digital color printers.

Small-Business and Hybrid-Worker Color Models

Designed for small businesses and work-from-home hybrid workers, Brother says its new color models provide in-office functionality. They include four standalone printers and five All-in-Ones, including the first-ever Brother Workhorse color models, which are exclusive to Brother Gold Authorized partners.

The new color models include:

  • These standalone color printers: the HL-L3220CDW ($249.99), HL-L3280CDW ($299.99), and HL-L3295CDW ($369.99). There is also the HL-L3300CDW ($369.99) with flatbed platen for copy and scan.
  • Two All-in-Ones, the MFC-L3780CDW ($399) and MFC-L3765CDW (pricing and specifications not available).
  • Two Brother Workhorse models, the HL-L8245CDW standalone printer and Workhorse MFC-L8395CDW All-in-One (pricing and specifications not available).

Key features of these new color models include:

  • Brother’s Digital Color Technology said to provide sharp text, vivid color, and laser-quality precision.
  • Advanced scanning features such as single-pass duplex scanning of up to 56 ipm, automatic deskew, continuous scanning, blank-page skip, and scan-to-cloud services.
  • Higher supply yields, multi-packs, and maximum-yield replacement toners that are said to minimize replacing toner cartridges.
  • Print speeds of up to 31 ppm.
  • Brother Mobile Connect App compatibility to securely print, scan, and copy directly from a wide variety of mobile devices.
  • Energy Star-compliant and EPEAT Silver-rated. Eco features include default automatic duplex printing, Eco Mode, and Toner Saver mode.
  • Select compatibility with Brother Refresh EZ Print Subscription Service.

Small, Mid-Size, and Enterprise-Level Monochrome Laser Models

Brother’s new high-speed monochrome models with print speeds of up to 52 ppm are designed for small to mid-size businesses and enterprise use. 

Key features include:

  • Low total cost of ownership with a 25,000-page replacement toner cartridge.
  • Brother Workhorse exclusive optional accessories, including a tower paper tray with stabilizer option for a floor-standing configuration and greater maximum paper capacity, and a stapler finisher for convenience stapling and stacking
  • 80-page automatic document feeder rated at up to 50 ipm for one-sided scanning, and up to 100 ipm for duplex scanning, as well as advanced scan-to capabilities.
  • 7″ color touchscreen that includes configuring up to 64 customized time-saving shortcuts, including direct scanning to popular business cloud services, email, Microsoft SharePoint, SSH Server (SFTP), and other destinations.
  • Flexible connectivity options including mobile printing.
  • Brother Value Added Solutions included on select Brother Workhorse protected models including Secure Print+, Remote Panel, and Custom User Interface.
  • Compatibility with the Brother Value Print Program.

The new monochrome models include: the Brother Workhorse HL-L5215DW, HL-L6415DW, HL-L6415DWT, HL-EX415DW, MFC-L5715DW, MFC-L6915DW, MFC-EX915DW, the Brother MFC-L5710DN, MFC-L5710DW, MFC-L5915DW, MFC-L6810DW, DCP-L5510DN, HL-L6310DW, HL-L6210DW, HL-L6210DWT, HL-L5210DW, HL-L5210DWT, HL-L5210DN, HL-L6217DW and MFC-L5717DW. Pricing and specifications are not yet available.

Enhanced  Security

Brother notes that its printers and All-in-Ones are equipped with Triple Layer Security features to safeguard networks, secure devices, and protect sensitive documents in transit to and from print devices.

Security features across select units include:

  • Integrated Near Field Communication (NFC) card readers that enable easy user badge authentication.
  • Secure Print+ that provides secure print-job release and storage of secure print jobs.

Availability

Select new products are available at retailers nationwide now, with select models beginning to ship throughout 2023 and 2024.
