Kyocera Launches Next-Gen EvolutionNext Copier/MFP Series
On June 17th, Kyocera Document Solutions America launched a series of 10 A3 copier/MFPs that consist of six color models and four monochrome models, called the EvolutionNext Series.
The firm says the new models are cloud-ready, and provide new on-device AI-driven capabilities, and new security, as well as reliability, and versatile document-finishing options. They provide print, copy, scan, and optional fax, and are rated from 25 to 70 ppm.
Every model comes with Kyocera cloud solutions pre-installed straight out of the box. These include:
- Kyocera Cloud Capture (KCC): Users can enjoy a free one-year trial of KCC, which facilitates quick and secure document capture and storage to cloud-based document storage sites.
- Kyocera Cloud Print and Scan (KCPS) and Kyocera Cloud Information Manager (KCIM): Users can activate these subscription-based solutions. KCPS helps customers move their print infrastructure to the cloud and enable mobile printing, helping to reduce costs while supporting hybrid work environments. KCIM helps customers store documents and automate workflows securely in the cloud.
The EvolutionNext Series (also known as the TASKalfa MZ7001ci Series) also features Image Defect Prevention, Handwriting Enhancement, and Confidential Document Guard.
All models are also said to meet stringent security requirements, including the highest level of government certification with the U.S. Federal Information Processing Standard (FIPS) 140-3 to keep information secure.
Other features include:
- Long-life components that last up to 600,000 images.
- Dual-scan processor with scan speeds of up to 274 images per minute and paper capacity up to 320 sheets.
- Kyocera’s Tiered Color System, so that customers pay only for the amount of color on the printed page – so that prints with only small amount of color are less expensive than prints with heavy color usage.
The new color MFPs are as follows:
- TASKalfa MZ7001ci
- TASKalfa MZ6001ci
- TASKalfa MZ5001ci
- TASKalfa MZ4001ci
- TASKalfa MZ3501ci
